To make the conference both accessible and entertaining, we have decided to use Zoom (https://zoom.us/) as the primary software for the conference, i.e. for plenary sessions, oral presentations, mentoring sessions, and workshops, and gather.town (https://gather.town/) for poster presentations and social activities.
The conference will take place in real time using these two platforms. Each oral presentation will be assigned 20 minutes and an additional 10 minutes for questions to the presenter.
The poster format is .pdf, portrait orientation with dimensions of maximum 90 cm by 120 cm (we recommend DIN A0 size).
We are currently preparing instructional materials about the two platforms to make sure that your conference experience is comfortable and rewarding. All conference participants will be given early access to the YLMP gather.town space, where you will be able to test out the exciting functionalities of the platform.
